Original Fortifications Dismantled and Rebuilt
We used excavators to demolish the wall, which was 3,200 ft. long, 16 ft. high, and 3 ft. thick. Dating from the 19th century, it had masonry bracing.
We dug, backfilled, and poured a new concrete foundation for the wall.
We repointed and partially replaced some rubble wall sections. Other sections were fully rebuilt.
New wood framing and tin crowns replacement.
