Scaffolding and access for major façades restoration
Lifting gears are used on this site to convey materials to the masonry restoration workers on the upper floors. An economical and safe way to increase efficiency. System scaffolding is perfect for custom configurations and can withstand weight bearing demands. It allows for safe and efficient work in congested spaces with obstacles.
This building’s structure was not sturdy enough to withstand the installation of scaffolding and our construction work. Therefore, our team installed shoring in the basement before work started.
On this site, swing stages provide access to the concrete repair and masonry restoration workers on the courtyard façades. Swing stages are ideal when scaffolding cannot be installed on the ground. In a swing stage scaffold, the platform is suspended by cables or ropes, which are fixed to stirrups on each side of the platform. This configuration allows the workers to raise and lower the stage with hoist motors.
Mast Climbers are installed on large façades and allow work to be done on one floor at a time. They are faster to install than regular scaffolding and don’t obstruct the view of the residents and users of the building.
