Chemical Anchoring for Frame Scaffolding and Masonry Restoration

Frame scaffolding is a cost-effective solution because it goes up very quickly. We created work floors and modular stairways so that workers could move from one floor to another on the site.

Our team of masons meticulously repointed the stonework to ensure the longevity and integrity of the facades. Stones that were beyond repair were replaced to renew the buildings’ aesthetic appeal while honoring its historical heritage.

Our masonry restoration team carried out the replacement of select limestone lintels, spandrels and jambs. A saw cut was made in the masonry to accommodate the new PVC roof. Openings were created in the masonry walls to allow the installation of new steel beams, with mortar filling around them to ensure seamless integration. The old openings left by the removed balcony beams were sealed with rubble stone.

We used chemical anchors because we were working on a very old heritage building. Traditional screws tend to cause porous joints to disintegrate. Chemical anchors use threaded rods and sealants, a perfect solution for very old walls.
