With pride and dedication, a team of more than twenty volunteers – employees, friends, and family members – came together to support La Corporation de l’Espoir, an organization that provides essential respite services to families with special needs.
Over the course of five weekends, the team dedicated more than 1,000 hours of volunteer work to this meaningful initiative. Atwill-Morin also contributed over $14,000 in materials to help bring the project to life.
Project highlights:
- Nearly full renovation of two kitchens: new cabinets, cupboard doors, countertops, and plumbing
- Replacement of five doors for added safety and functionality
- Safe sealing of a window and wall repairs
- Reinforcement of handrails in three staircases
- Preventive ceiling inspection and repair, including new waterproofing around the upstairs bath and toilet
- Full repainting of the ground floor, generously provided (materials and labor) by JBTG, who dedicated four full workdays to the task.
This volunteer initiative is more than just a series of renovations: it’s a powerful example of what teamwork and solidarity can achieve. At Atwill-Morin, we believe that true impact isn’t only measured by the scale of our projects, but also by the actions we take to improve the lives of those in the communities around us.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who gave their time, energy, and expertise to make a real difference in the lives of local families.
