Riverside Drive

A long expansion joint runs along and around the building, separating the structures at the structural slab level to allow the buildings to move independently. Our team completely replaced this joint to ensure flexibility for structural movement while maintaining optimal waterproofing.

Some areas of concrete showed signs of delamination and had separated from the reinforcing steel. We broke out the concrete to remove the deteriorated sections, then carried out a complete repair. These repairs secured the foundation before the waterproofing work continued.

We identified faulty drains that were causing water infiltration. Our team excavated down to the foundation to replace the targeted drains. This work helps prevent water buildup and preserves the integrity of the slab and adjacent structures.

We used the TREMproof 6100 waterproofing membrane, a Tremco product designed for new or remedial applications on horizontal concrete surfaces. Applied with specialized heated equipment, this system provides excellent water resistance, even in submerged conditions, and is ideal for unexposed upper parking slabs. Its durability makes it an ideal solution for extending the service life of the concrete structure while meeting the highest waterproofing standards.
