New Stone Facades and Masonry Repairs

A section of the original rubble stone and rock foundations was carefully restored and showcased to be integrated seamlessly into the restaurant’s design. Our team of masons repaired or replaced any irreparable stones as needed, while carrying out a full repointing of the structure. A waterproofing treatment was also applied, helping to restore the foundation’s original strength and natural sheen.

A breath of fresh air for the building’s façade! Our experts carefully assembled and installed high-quality natural sandstone. This stone blends perfectly with the building’s architecture and the historic character of Quebec City’s Grande Allée, restoring the prestige of this iconic landmark.

Our bricklayers restored the stone façades using Dutchman repairs, a traditional technique in architectural heritage conservation that involves cutting out damaged sections and replacing them with new stone pieces. Additionally, our team cut natural sandstone on-site to replace specific façade elements with precision.

Due to significant wear on the exterior walls, we carried out meticulous repointing, corrected brick finishes, and restored damaged bricks. These repairs were essential to preserve both the structural integrity and aesthetic appeal of the walls.
