To get rid of the old lead contaminated paint and mortar, gel paint strippers have been used, as well as a steam-based cleaning system. Every step of the way, our certified lead paint removal partners worked in accordance to regulations to exceed the safety and environmental expectations. The abatement process needed to take into account trapping water and paint chips, to protect the workers, the general public and the environment.

Maintaining the mortar joints on a masonry building is important to esthetically and physically preserve a structure. Properly repointing masonry joints conserves the historical character of a building while preserving its physical integrity. Our masons also replaced a few damaged bricks.

Flashing Trims are designed to terminate the membrane when a flat roof meets a wall. They prevent the water from running down the back of the membrane. Our team replaced this important roofing accessory that strengthens and seals the entire roof, while protecting the integrity of the masonry.

Our partners, Lori Le Mare Studio' master artisans, restored the historical painted decoration to its 1912 glory!
