Their tenants, most of whom are elderly, are anxiously waiting for air conditioning or simply adequate windows.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"1\">The contract was awarded in 2023 to Ontario contractor Brook Restoration, but the company declared bankruptcy last February.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2\">Atwill-Morin saw an opportunity it could not pass up. Following a long marathon of negotiations and an offer, the construction firm has just acquired both Brook Restoration&#8217;s assets\u2014facilities and equipment\u2014and its active contracts.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3\"><strong>25 projects in Toronto will be saved by Atwill-Morin, representing a backlog of nearly 100 million dollars in contract value.
